Brahmaputra River System

The Brahmaputra is one of Asia's major trans-boundary rivers, originating from the Chemayungdung glacier in the Kailash range, traversing Tibet (Yarlung Tsangpo), entering India through Arunachal Pradesh (Siang/Dihang), flowing through the Assam valley, and merging with the Padma in Bangladesh before emptying into the Bay of Bengal.
